Where to Use

Apply KILZ® CLEAR SEALING WAX over KILZ® CHALK STYLE PAINT to seal the surface afterward. An “antique” look can be achieved by applying two contrasting colors, distressed with sandpaper, and sealed with KILZ® DARK SEALING WAX. Do not use on horizontal surfaces subject to foot traffic.

 

Application

  • The surface should be clean and completely dry, free of dust and debris.

  • Rub a thin layer of wax on with a clean, lint-free cloth or brush.

  • Allow to thoroughly dry.

  • Buff the surface for a subtle, velvety finish.

  • To maintain the quality of your finish, reapply wax as needed.

Clean-up & Disposal

  • Clean all tools and equipment with clean water.

  • For disposal of empty containers and unused product, contact your household refuse collection service.

  • To reduce waste, consult with your retailer or an online paint calculator to determine the correct amount of paint to purchase.
