KILZ® CHALK STYLE PAINT

Interior | Decorative | Easy Application

Easily add history and character to any surface with KILZ® CHALK STYLE PAINT. It goes on thick, for excellent hide, and requires very little surface preparation. Depending on the vision you have for the project, simply apply 1 or 2 coats on a clean, dust-free, or lightly sanded surface. To enhance durability, seal the surface afterward with KILZ® CLEAR SEALING WAX. An “antique” look can be achieved by applying two contrasting colors, distressed with sandpaper, and sealed with KILZ® DARK SEALING WAX.

KILZ® CHALK STYLE PAINT is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kilz is the Best Chalk Paint I tried different brands of chalk paint and nothing and to me, the best is Kilz'. I love that it's thick, it cover stains without a problem, has no odor and there is array of beautiful colors to choose from. Unlike other brands, this paint is not liquidy; one can goes a long way so I can paint several pieces. Last but not least, the price is reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paint on anything, even fabric! I brought a can of the chalk paint to do a myriad of craft projects. Perfect for each application, from wood to glass, to painting a fabric chair. I had seen chairs painted before but most used a high dollar specialty paint not easily found. Perfection! Looks like leather!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price and product! I bought Kilz brand because I had a piece of furniture with a deep red tint stain. I knew it would be hard to cover without bleeding through using my normal paint. Kilz worked great and now it's the only brand chalk paint I use. Price is good and I don't have to buy several small bottles. Thanks so much!

Priming

  • Use KILZ® CHALK STYLE PAINT on properly prepared uncoated or painted interior surfaces.
  • For wood that contains tannins, such as Redwood and Cedar, a coat of primer such as KILZ PREMIUM Interior/Exterior water-based primer is recommended.

  • Follow the instructions on the back of the primer label and top coat it with KILZ CHALK STYLE PAINT.
