TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
THE FOLLOWING STEPS AND PRODUCTS ARE REQUIRED:
- To remove loose and failing coatings or wood fibers, use a wood stain & finish stripper followed by a wood cleaner & brightener to neutralize the wood.
- When stripping is not needed, the surface MUST be prepared with a wood cleaner to remove mill glaze and clean the wood surface.
- After using a stripper or cleaner & brightener, rinse the surface thoroughly with a garden hose or pressure washer. When rinsing with a pressure washer, use the broadest spray pattern while keeping the nozzle at least 24" away from the surface.
- Allow the area to dry at least 24 hours before coating.
- If needed, lightly sand to remove any wood fibers/fuzz.

Application
- TWO THIN COATS REQUIRED.
- DO NOT THIN PRODUCT.
- Apply the product when temperature is between 35-90˚F.
- Avoid applying in direct sunlight or on heated surfaces.
- Do not use if rain is expected within 24 hours.
- The surface must be completely dry before application.
- Stir product occasionally throughout application and intermix containers of same product for color uniformity.
- Apply with a nylon/polyester brush. On rough or textured wood apply with a 3/4" long nap roller or high quality airless sprayer.
- For airless spraying use .015-.019" tip (60 mesh filter). PUMP SPRAYER NOT RECOMMENDED.
- Spray in small sections slightly saturating the surface and immediately back-brush or back-roll to eliminate puddling. Remove excess and evenly distribute the stain.
- Keep a wet edge to reduce lapping and help control color uniformity.
- Over-application of stain will lead to surface failure including peeling and cracking.

- Clean equipment and paint spatters with warm, soapy water. If spilled, contain material and remove with an inert absorbent.

First Aid
If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical assistance immediately.
In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
For skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
If swallowed, get medical attention immediately.
