KILZ® HIDE-ALL® Interior Primer is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 212.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent Hide??? Nothing to write home about. Just a cheap primer. Not sure if Kilz did any testing however should have been labeled Semi Transparent! I will say that I did not have issues with the top coat running like other people however I always allow at least 24 hours between coats. This allows complete drying and gassing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Repelled First Coat on Some Surfaces We used this product in each room of our apartment before painting. We let the primer dry for 24 hours and had no issues applying it. In the first room, our paint went on beautifully. In all other rooms, however, the first coat of paint didn't stick to the primed walls. Instead it ran terribly and would glop up and pull off into rough, jagged peaks on a second pass with the roller. Any attempt to smooth made the problem much worse. (I have trouble believing the paint was to blame, as the first room and two of the problem rooms were painted with the same 5-gallon bucket of paint. The worst problem room was a different bucket of paint altogether.) In the problem rooms, we had to wait for the paint to dry, sand everything, then apply a second coat of paint. Huge waste of time and very frustrating, especially for a product that's supposed to promote adhesion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cover on House Trim I used this paint to cover trim in a 3600 sq ft house. It took forever to do, but the KILZ saved so much time as I did not have to sand the trim or do any other prep. It has held up perfect the last six months and I’m confident it will continue to hold up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST! We have a 100 + year old house and have no idea what kind of paint is on its surfaces. We have always used KILZ, and have had no problems. I have just repainted our dining room, kitchen and laundry room. KILZ it first!
