  • New or smooth concrete floors: For proper penetration and adhesion of sealer, use KILZ Concrete & Masonry Cleaner & Etcher to clean and etch the surface (do not use on colored concrete).

  • Coated surfaces: To clean a previously coated surface in sound condition, use KILZ Concrete & Masonry Cleaner & Degreaser. Scrape and remove any loose or peeling coating. To completely strip the coated surface, use KILZ Concrete & Masonry Paint Stripper.

Application

  • DO NOT DILUTE. Stir or shake before applying.

  • For best results, apply when air and surface temperatures are between 50-90°F.

  • Apply a thin coat using a nylon/polyester brush, 1/4" - 3/8" nap roller, high quality pad applicator or a high quality pump sprayer with an adjustable conical tip. Spread rate is highly dependent on surface roughness and porosity. If sprayed, backroll for uniform thickness.

Dry Time

  • Dries to touch 1 hour; recoat time 4 hours. Longer dry time required in cooler temperatures and in higher humidity.

  • Floors may be subjected to light foot traffic after 24 hours. Allow 72 hours before repositioning furniture or subjecting surface to heavy foot or automotive traffic. Park tires on corrugated cardboard for 14 days after applying product.

  • Allow 72 hours before repositioning furniture.

  • Allow two weeks before washing or cleaning for full cure.
