We started by grounding the wide-open space with a new island, painted in the same color as the cabinets, and adding new light wood floors. Natural textures and tones in the light fixture, rug and window shade brought a subtle coastal vibe to the space that fit perfectly with the new light bluish-gray cabinets.<\/p>\n
