Ceiling Paint

• Recommended for drywall, plaster, masonry, stucco, acoustic or wood ceilings.

• Remove any loose or peeling paint and wash off dirt or grease with a non-soapy detergent or TSP substitute. Rinse well and allow surface to dry.
• Countersink all nailheads, repair imperfections and sand smooth.
• Scuff sand glossy surfaces.
• Remove dust with a damp cloth and allow to dry.
• Allow new stucco, plaster and masonry to cure for 30 days before priming and painting.

• For best results, prime the entire surface with KILZ® PREMIUM Primer-Sealer-Stainblocker on unpainted, stained, porous and repaired surfaces before painting.

• Use product when the surface and air temperatures are between 50-90°F.
• Stir paint occasionally. Intermix containers of the same product to ensure color and sheen uniformity.
• Use a high-quality synthetic brush or 3/8" - 1/2" synthetic roller. For heavily textured surfaces such as stucco, a 3/4" roller is recommended.
• If desired, recoat after 4 hours.

• Use the "V" paint method to maintain a wet edge by applying paint toward the unpainted area and then back into the just-painted area.
• Repeat "V" with a fully loaded roller for every 2 ft. by 2 ft. area.
• DO NOT overspread or "stretch" paint. Under-application will affect hide and durability. Do not apply excessive pressure when rolling.

• Dries to the touch in 2 hours (at 77°F and 50% R.H.) or longer in cooler temperatures and/or higher humidity.
• If desired, recoat after 4 hours.

• Use soap and water.
• Do not dispose of this product down a drain.
• For disposal of empty containers and unused product, contact your household refuse collection service.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed for as long as you own/rent your home when one coat is applied and cared for according to label directions that: (1) ONE-COAT HIDE One-coat hide over any color when used as a pre-mixed white; (2) WASHABILITY Spots from dirt and soil can be removed by washing and scrubbing. Wait two weeks before washing the cured paint film; (3) STAIN REMOVAL Stains can be removed by washing using a mild liquid detergent and water; (4) FADE RESISTANCE Will not fade under normal applications; and (5) DURABILITY Paint film holds up even after continued washing.

This guarantee is made to the original residential paint purchaser and is not transferable. Remedy: If this paint fails to meet the above guarantee, Masterchem will, at its option and upon proof of purchase, furnish an equivalent amount of new paint or refund the purchase price.
